It All Begins with an Idea

Do you have an idea for a piece of art for your home or office, or as a gift for someone else?

Ginger loves creating commissions that honor people’s stories, events and moments in life. She sees the commission process as a gift offering her the opportunity to translate and process the unique vision of each client.

She can create works for / about specific people or stories, and also customize sizes and applications for specific spaces.

You can also work together with Ginger on a commission collaboration. She will help you learn about her creative process as you both make a unique original work of art!

Costs are dependent on the scale and scope of the work.

Let’s Make it.

Ginger’s Commission Process

Initial Meeting (in person, phone or video) 
Ginger will be with you in full presence, listening to you share your ideas for the commission.  You will discuss:

  • Whether this will be a Solo or Collaborative process

    • Solo is Ginger listening then working alone on the piece

    • Collaborative is Ginger working with you on the creating of the piece

  • Ideas for imagery, color and emotion that you would like to portray in the piece.

  • Final size and framing thoughts so we can project costs appropriately

  • Schedule and timing for the work to be completed. If it is collaborative we will schedule our times to meet and create together.

If desired, Ginger can share sketches about her initial ideas. 
(Not all clients want this - it is not required)
